Philly

I hope you had a nice weekend.

Robin and I enjoyed our anniversary in Philadelphia.  We dined at a fabulous restaurant with the couple who introduced us and spent all day Saturday walking around and taking in the sights.

I love cities and have visited many.  Each has its appeal and Philly is no exception.  Here are some photos...

What did you do this weekend?

  2. What a great trip. I have only been there once but did not really get a chance to see much on a business trip.
We had a big couples night out last night. It was a lot of fun.

  5. It looks like you and Robin enjoyed yourselves, good for you !!! Weekends are these parts are usually filled with all the stuff that does not get done during the week. Although I did have a little "girls night" at my place on friday and that was big fun. Summer is slipping away and I'm trying to squeeze every last drop before its gone.

  6. My brother- and sis-in-law got married on Friday on your anniversary. :) It was a GREAT wedding and reception. But it was SO HOT, and I was exhausted. So Saturday and Sunday, I was absolutely good for nothing except for a brief visit with some of out-of-state family who came in for the wedding. I laid around under the fan and watched "Murder, She Wrote." ;)

So glad you guys had the opportunity to revisit "the scene of the crime" and reminisce!! How wonderful.

  9. Happy anniversary! I know I'm a bit late. But I don't think you guys will mind...

I like your pictures. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I could be a city slicker someday. What do you think?

  10. Sure you could, Ashley. Put your toe in the water with visits and find out!

  11. I was in Philly on Saturday too! In Chinatown most of the day watching a battle of the bands and then drinking saki but I was there nonetheless...how surreal would it have been to run into each other?!

  13. Happy Anniversary! Philly's great! (I lived there for about a year in grad school.) If you guys ever head back, check out Tria, it's a cute little wine bar in the Rittenhouse Square area!
