Bacon Milkshake

It's official -- the American empire has fallen and it can't get up.

With two-thirds of us overweight, "Jack In The Box" (a fast-food restaurant) is introducing a Bacon Milkshake with 1,081 calories.  The FDA says we should eat a total of 2,000 calories a day.  This drink consumes more than half that amount.

*sigh*

  2. Ew. I could start a lengthy discussion about the concept of "overweight" (what with genetic setpoints and the BMI being entirely bogus and physical fitness being more important than the number on the scale) but I think I'll just leave it at Ew.
