Romper Room

I've always wanted to wear a romper but didn't know where to find one.  Fortunately, a pretty romper just crossed my path.

Kohl's is smart -- they send me $10 gift-cards which are irresistible.  I always take them to the local store and buy clothes I wouldn't otherwise.  This past weekend, I found a $52 romper on sale for $29 which, with my gift-card, cost me only $19.  Wow!

And I haven't told you the best part yet -- the print is of two-wheeled scooters!  Red and white scooters.  And cute buttons on the attached shorts.  I love it!

Do you ever wear a romper?

  1. I'm entirely too long all over to fit a romper properly, alas! I'm glad you're enjoying yours; I shall have to live vicariously. :)

  2. AHHHH! You look AMAZING! I absolutely love rompers and freak out every time I find one, because I live in them in the summer. They are so comfy and such an easy outfit and perfect for biking. I could gush for hours about how lovely you look and how adorable this romper is. Oh and on how incredible your legs are, but I comment on them on every post :P

  6. You couldn't have possibly found a more perfect print for you! (Well maybe if it were pink?)!

I've only tried on a romper once. It was too short through the body, and had no straps, so I left it behind.

  7. I used to wear rompers but since I've gained weight, I find I look like a giant baby w/giant tits in a romper. The print on this one is fantastic!

  9. Thanks so much for your recent comments on my blog. It's always great to come across blogs I have never seen before. And you're a lawyer? I just finished my law degree last year. You're so right. I am finding unemployment really hard but once it is over I know I'll want the free time back. I love rompers, or playsuits as we seem to call them over here, I only have one and I wish there were more around. I am pleased you were able to find one. I love the print, I always like unique prints and this one is amazing.

  10. I bought the cutest floral romper from Walmart a couple of years ago, but it buttoned in the back. That made going to the bathroom a nightmare! Plus it was waaaay too short for me to wear comfortably in public.

  11. I love the look of playsuits but I find them difficult to wear. I did see a beautiful one in Beyond Retro but it had gone by the time I went back to retrieve it :( but I am determined to get one and like it. This one suits you so well and shows off your best asset of course, your fabulous legs

  12. Sigh, I've never found a romper that fits me well, it looks like every time I try one on there's something wrong with it :( But you my friend, you look so cute in this romper!

  15. I usually have a hard time with rompers...they remind me too much of my childhood, haha. But this one is different...I like that it looks like two separate pieces! Definitely more grown-up than the standard monochrome piece.

  16. I really want a vintage romper! This print is too adorable with the scooters. I'm always drawn to a novelty print. Hopefully some summer I will find one!

  17. OMG it is so cute!! I love rompers, except they are awkward when you have to pee. Otherwise, it is kinda awesome to run around in basically a onesie.

  18. I have two rompers that rarely come out...
I'm glad you found one you liked, the print is so cute.

  20. Very cute!
I don't ever shop at Kohl's, but they sell a brand of pants I always thrift so might be interested. How do you get those gift cards? Do you have to sign up for a Kohl's credit card?

    1. No, I'd never sign up for a store credit-card. I simply got one in the mail, used it, and that put me in their database. Now, because the cards are computerized, they know I use them so they send me more. I get one every 2-3 months. You might have luck looking at their website for promotional information about it.

  21. Ah, the universe smiled upon you yet again with that adorable print and great price! You pull off the romper look well, my dear! Your legs go on for miles and miles!

I have one romper I got a couple years ago from F21. It's got a little floral chintz print. I love it so much but feel self-conscious when I go out in it for some reason!
