Oyster Festival

The annual Oyster Festival in nearby Oyster Bay, Long Island is one of our best local events. It's very popular and full of fun. Lots of good food, craft-vendors and sights. I went today and snapped a few shots.

  6. I have yet to make it to the Oyster Festival, but I've heard that it's a debaucherous event. Some of my farmers market/craft fair friends have told me that it's gotten too sloppy with the drinking! Have you had that experience??

    2. No. There's a significant presence of police and security which would halt anything moving in that direction. Then again, it's a very big event (150,000 people) so there are always gonna be some drunks.
